WHAT IS SEXUAL SIN?

° SEXUAL SIN- Includes but not limited to the following;

▪Sex before marriage
▪ Sexual lusts
▪ Pornography
▪Immoral movies, TV programs
▪ Nudity
▪Immoral dressings e.g Tight trousers, Open Chest, miniskirts and tumbo cuts.
▪Lusting at immoral photos in WhatsApp, Facebook, Newspapers and Magazines
▪ Masturbation
▪ Homosexuality
▪ Lesbianism
▪ Beastiality
▪Incest
▪ Abortions
▪ Sexually immoral thoughts
▪ Boyfriends- Girlfriend Relationships before time.
▪ Immoral language e.g Sweety, dear, darling, honey among the youths.
▪ Immoral music e.g Rap Reggae
▪ Immoral dances e.g Ndombolo
▪ Keeping company of sexually immoral people
▪Immoral SMS texts wanting to please or impress the opposite sex.

*WHY WE SHOULD AVOID SEXUAL IMMORALITY*
⭕Defiles the Temple (1CORINTHIANS.3:17)

⭕Renders one a useless vessel, vessel of shame and dishonour (2 TIMOTHY 2:21)

⭕Rejection and separation from God – Breaks fellowship ( David rejected for more than one year)

⭕ Collapses daily walk with God (GENESIS 3:24) Adam and Eve Chased.

⭕Breaks families.

⭕ Broken Relationships hurts

⭕Causes Sexually Transmitted infections leading to pain, suffering, infertility, Abortions.

⭕ Death (Spiritual and Physical) ROMANS 6:23, 1 CORINTHIANS 3: 16-17, 10:1-8.

⭕Costly treatment and Surgery for diseases

⭕Shame before God and men

⭕ Unfaithfulness

⭕Your children will acquire your diseases suffer and even die from HIV.

*HOW TO AVOID SEXUAL SIN.*

1. Flee away ( 1CORINTHIANS 6:12-20)

2. Be Born Again (JOHN 3:3)

3. Repentance (ACTS 17:30-31)

4. Public confession (ACTS 19: 18-19)

5. Abstain (1PETER 2:11)

6. Avoid lust ( MATTHEW 5:28-30)

7. Fear God ( EXODUS 20:20)

8. Purity daily (2 TIMOTHY 2:20-22)

9. No wilful sinning (HEBREWS 10:26, 6:4-6)

10. Be Spirit filled (GALATIANS 5: 16-22)

11. Be self controlled (TITUS 2:6)

12. Zero Tolerance to sin (HEBREWS 12:16)

13. Control your eyes (JOB 31:1)

14. Kill the Flesh (COLOSSIANS 3:5-6)

15. Be full of Word of God ( COLOSSIANS 3:16)

16. Don’t keep company of immoral people (1CORITHIANS 5:9-11)

17. Avoid being alone together in confined lonely places with opposite sex.

18. Don’t relate carelessly before marriage (Many fall here)

19. Involve your Bishop or Pastor when you intend to marry – For guidance and prayers.

20. Avoid a second look at Nudity or anything that arouses your desires.

21. Do regular fasting to kill the flesh (The Sinful Nature)

22. Rebuke with love those who are immoral.

23. Always Preach against sin

24. Ask us any question if you are not sure of what to do next

25. Don’t rush to somebody in marriage – of late we have seen evil youths who only want sleep and leave you.

*(ECCLESIASTES 4:13) BETTER A POOR YOUTH WHO TAKES WARNING THAN A FOOLISH KING WHO DOES NOT TAKE WARNING.*
